Mr. Bartels' experience encompasses mergers and acquisitions along with military and civilian flight operations, flight test management and requirements development. Over the past 2 years in investment banking Mr. Bartels has participated in numerous A&D sell-side, buy-side and strategic advisory transactions.

Prior to business school, Mr. Bartels served as an F-15E "Strike Eagle" pilot where he accumulated over 2,000 hours of flight experience having served in combat operations over Iraq and Afghanistan. He is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Fighter Weapons School ("Top Gun") and also served as a test pilot with experience in F-15, F-16, A-10 and F-18.

Mr. Bartels continues to serve a as Major in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
